What We Believe
We maintain conservative, evangelical values and beliefs. We are not a denomination but instead an independent church affiliated with Village Missions of Canada. We follow the statement of faith of Village Missions but we also have our own statement of belief that carries a little more detail.
Our Purpose and Mission
The purpose and mission of Freedom Bible Church is to bring people to Jesus for salvation, welcoming them into our family of worship, teaching and encouraging them to follow Christ in the power of the Spirit, and training them for a lifestyle of serving God and reaching others. On a volunteer and non-profit basis the society will seek to achieve the following objectives:
- To glorify God in the salvation of souls through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
- To edify believers through the regular teaching of the Word of God. (2Timothy 3:16-17)
- To provide regular services for public worship, prayer and praise. (Acts 2:42-47)
- To establish Christ-centered homes, and promotion of world-wide evangelism. (Matt. 28:19-20)
- To earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints. (Jude 3)
- To fellowship with other born again believers in the work of the gospel of Jesus Christ. (Heb.10:25)
